General Information

The Race

A 24 hour mountain bike relay race on approx. 8 mile course. Teams try to log as many laps as possible, with only 1 member riding at a time. The fastest team with the most laps in the 24 hour time period wins.

Course Description

Erwin Park is a city of McKinney public park. The trail is approx 8 miles, and a mix of tight and twisty in the woods with some fast open field sections. There is plenty of climbing to get you heart rate up. Since you're going up, there are some fast and fun downhills as well. There are some technical sections, but also plenty of places for passing.

Food:

Hooters will be on site selling food from 10am-10pm Saturday. We are working on a breakfast & lunch vendor for Sunday morning.

Lights

TrailLED will be at the event and offering light rentals and discounted sales prices on lighting. There will be a neutral charging station provided by TrailLED. Please label you lights with your name. We do not think NiteRider will be at the event, as our race is right between 2 big events they are supporting, and getting the big rig down to Dallas area is quite a trek out of the way. We will update if we hear anything else.

If you need to rent a light for the upcoming Terrafirma/Dorba 24 hours of Erwin Park please send an email requesting a light to trailled@gmail.com

I have a limited number of rentals available and need to ensure that no one is left in the dark so to speak
